The mission of Resurgence PPG has always been to provide a way for our veteran community to recover and bounce back from difficult experiences and situations. 2023 was my turn to work on my own resiliency and emotional strength.
On Veterans Day 2022, I lost my wife of 27 years. The loss of my soulmate was devastating. They say time heals but I was not able to find a published timeline of what that looked like. During 2023 I attempted to reengage and get things going with Resurgence PPG. Each time I found myself lost and without any sense of purpose. To say my heart wasn't in it would be an understatement. I knew that I needed to take time to focus on myself. I knew I had to do this, even if it meant seeing Resurgence PPG come to a screeching halt. It wasn't what I wanted but it was what I had to do. As 2023 was coming to a close I knew I had to either reignite the passion that I had for helping others or completely shut things down. I believe the mission of Resurgence PPG is a noble cause and I don't want to see it relegated to the memory banks of so many pilots and veterans. My resolution for 2024 is to demonstrate the resiliency that I believe is so important to our well being. With your help I hope to get our program thriving once again and impacting lives through adventure flight. I am grateful for everyone that has been a supporter of Resurgence PPG in the past and for helping keep the dream alive. I hope to make 2024 an incredible year for so many in our Veteran community. I hope to see you in the air. Blue Skies, Todd
